The Rainbow Bridge

Just This Side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

CHARLEE
1996 - 2006
When I grow up, I want to be Charlee. This little girl will be remembered as the "Enlightened One", always wagging her tail and happy. Out of everything she knew, she knew how to be one with God. Always kind and forgiving, loving unconditionally. Her sweet litle snore will be missed upon many sleepless nights to come.
We love you and miss you. May you grow wings and fly- MOM, Frank, Flic, Chief, and Vic

LASER
11/13/01 - 5/1/06
Laser did not get the chance to find her forever home but she did get to know what it meant to be in a home, and how it was to be loved. Laser was a top racer, and lived life to the fullest. Her life was cut off too short due to an illness that we could not determine. Laser is now finally at peace. She will be missed and always loved by her foster families and those that knew her. - Jenny, Eric, Wanda and Mike

Jazz was the best dog that we could ever have. We love and miss him so much. We lost him too soon but it was time for him to go. We have wonderful memories of him trying to do the cockroach to seeing him play with his first toy. He was so sweet even when he was grumpy. He was such a baby, but at the same time would be so protective. We miss you so much and you will never be forgoten, we love you. - Loved and missed by Kirsten & Alyssa

OONAGH (Darlin’ Nikki) 5/27/01-6/19/07
Our beloved Houndlet. You awed us with your intelligence, delighted us with your exuberance, and graced us with your beauty--a greyhound beyond all that we could have expected. You were our best friend and transformed all of our lives forever. We hope Tootsie Roll and Merlin aren’t bossing you around too much, and that you give Nelly and Otis a chance to get into the waves for the ball once in a while. You are with us always, our little red shadow.

MAXI
12/4/98 - 9/29/07
Maxi was our first greyhound. It is from her that our love of greyhounds began. Without Maxi there would be no G2G and we would not have this love for all greyhounds. She was a true joy in our lives and will be forever missed. She has been welcomed with open arms at the rainbow bridge by her sister Dottie and other cousins. We will miss you and love you always. - Mom, Dad, Oscar, Methos, Brenda, Towie, Tuna and Ghost
